Healthcare organizations like other organizations in other industries face controversies because of some staff members or even some doctors utilizing unethical means in their workplaces. The unethical means can be to ensure that there can be more financial or other types of benefits obtained by the members of healthcare organizations. For example, there can be nonfinancial benefits like making stakeholders and sponsors satisfied about the profits or good will earned by the utilization of unethical means by the members of healthcare organizations. The unethical means can work well for some members of healthcare organizations till the time these employees are not identified to have utilized unethical means. The same rationale is applicable for members of healthcare organizations utilizing illegal means to obtain popularity and/or financial benefits for the members and/or the organization. This is because illegal means utilized by members of healthcare organizations can lead to worse consequences than consequences faced for doing unethical things in the workplace by members of healthcare organizations. Fraud is something which has to be avoided by members of healthcare organizations. There can be members of healthcare organizations being deceived to fall in the trap of fraud of other members. Therefore, training about avoiding or preventing to fall into the trap of fraud must be provided to every member of every healthcare organization. Apart from fraud, there must be personal discretion and personal sense of morality and ethics utilized and applied by members of healthcare organizations in all situations. Violation of code of ethics can be a major issue for the members of healthcare organizations. This is because code of ethics is extremely important in the healthcare industry as violation of such a code can lead to enhancement in the rate of fatalities of patients. There can be the occurrence or recurrence of mass fatalities if there is any kind of negligence shown by any member of any healthcare organization. If there is continuous negligence or even a single instance of negligence taking place in a healthcare organization; there will still be high chances of some kind of harm being caused to the patient. This is because the patient can be in a critical condition without the knowledge of the patient as well as the member of the healthcare organization. Therefore, awareness of every healthcare employee about every patient in every situation will be most important to practice.
